Overview
Kidsthrift Market is a peer-to-peer marketplace for physical goods, where items are sold directly by independent sellers. Refunds and returns are generally handled by the seller, with Kidsthrift Market LLC providing limited dispute support. By purchasing through our platform, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered only in the following situations: -The item was not received -The item arrived damaged -The item is significantly not as described in the original listing Refund requests must be submitted within [3-5 days] of delivery, or within [14 days] of the expected delivery date if the item was not received.
Refund Cap
Refunds issued through Kidsthrift Market are subject to a maximum cap of $200 USD per transaction, including the item price and any applicable taxes. Any purchase amount exceeding $200 is made at the buyer’s own risk, and Kidsthrift Market will not issue refunds beyond this limit under any circumstances.
Seller Responsibility
Each seller is responsible for accurately describing their items and fulfilling orders as listed. Unless otherwise stated in the listing: -All sales are final -Sellers are not required to accept returns for reasons such as buyer’s remorse, sizing issues, or preference changes
Dispute Resolution
Buyers should first attempt to resolve any issue directly with the seller through the platform. If a resolution cannot be reached, Kidsthrift Market may review the dispute and, at its sole discretion: -Approve a refund (up to $200) -Require the item to be returned -Deny the refund if the claim does not meet eligibility requirements All dispute decisions made by Kidsthrift Market are final.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued for: -Change of mind or buyer’s remorse -Fit or sizing issues, unless misrepresented -Normal wear, aging, or minor flaws disclosed in the listing -Shipping delays caused by carriers beyond seller control
Fees & Shipping
Platform service fees are non-refundable Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is deemed damaged or significantly not as described
Payment Processing Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to process, depending on the payment provider.
